Join Beta Alpha Psi

Membership Requirements:

1. Must have declared, or intend to declare, a major (or concentration) in accounting, finance or information systems

2. Must have completed at least one year of college courses (30+ hours)

3. Attained an appropriate cumulative GPA:

Option 1: Earn a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 as a Freshman

Option 2: Earn a 3.25 in the four Walton College core courses: WCOB 2013-Markets and Consumers, WCOB 2023-Production and Delivery of Goods and Services, WCOB 2033-Acquiring and Managing Human Capital, and WCOB 2043-Acquiring and Managing Financial Resources.

Option 3: Earn a 3.30 in ACCT 3013-Accounting Views, ACCT 3613-Managerial Uses of Accounting information, ACCT 3533-Accounting Technology.

4. Alternatively, a full-time student in the Masters of Accountancy program

 

*Members must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA after joining to be in good standing with Beta Alpha Psi

*Candidates who do not meet these requirements may still be able to join if they meet certain requirements found in the BAP Policies and Procedures Manual.
